Creativity to Activation: AI Impact & Black Wealth-Building

Creativity to Activation: AI Impact & Black Wealth-Building

Creativity to Activation is a Black History Month experience designed for this moment—when uncertainty is high, and creativity alone is no longer enough.

Hosted at the historic Chicago Board of Trade, 141 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, this future-facing conversation explores how Black leaders turn creativity into measurable impact and wealth, even in volatile conditions. Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance—an era of extraordinary Black innovation that emerged during the Great Depression—the event reframes constraint as a catalyst for momentum. Guests are welcome.

The evening features a moderated panel of high-credibility Black Kellogg alumni and builders sharing real stories of:

· Moving from being recognized for potential to being relied on for impact

· Building leverage through relationships, decisions, and disciplined execution

· Using modern tools—including AI—to compress time and accelerate outcomes

Featured Speakers

. Tobenna Egwu '20- (Moderator) - People & Talent Executive, Apex Fintech Solutions

· Victor C. Barnes ’08 – Former Fortune 100 CFO, Board Director, Executive Coach, and Author of Chasing Credibility

· Alex Bell ’19 – Former New York Giants player, Vice President at Synchrony, working at the intersection of innovation, governance, and responsible growth

· Victoria D. Bills – Co-Founder & CEO of Allocraft AI, building AI-powered diligence tools for alternative investors

Cost: $40 (Ticket price includes lite bites and drinks)

The experience includes a guided activation segment delivered through a digital toolkit (with an optional AI prompt pack), so attendees leave with practical next steps tailored to their track—career/leadership, venture building, creative work, or personal reset.

This is not just a conversation about creativity. It’s about activation

Celebrate the history. Activate the future.
